Francis Marion

As depicted here, Francis Marion wears the uniform of the Second Regiment of the South Carolina Line which he commanded from 1778 to 1779. The details of the uniform were provided by members of the Second Carolina Line Establishment, including its Commander, Herbert Puckett, his son Sergeant Major Bert Puckett, US Army, and Ms. Athena Westeren. Without their assistance, an accurate representation of actual uniform worn by Francis Marion would not have been possible.
